We offer tailored plans for private practitioners and facilities, to ensure your specific needs are met.
To enquire about our plans, select “Get started” in the top menu, and fill in the form. -
Our mobile app is available for Apple, Android, and Huawei phones, and you can access Vula Web via the browser on mobile, tablet, or desktop devices.

Our support team is available 7 days a week, from 8-5pm, via email and WhatsApp. On our more advanced plans, you can access additional training for your team and a dedicated account manager.

Our specialised plans give you access to monthly reports with data on your department or facility’s performance, referral sources or destinations, response times, and other useful metrics.
Our users find these reports helpful to advocate to receive more resources, to improve performance, and to plan interventions to address larger health concerns on their communities.

Downloading the Vula app uses less than 60MB, making it smaller than similar apps used for communication!

Currently Vula operates in South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, and Zambia, but we are always expanding! Get in touch if you would like to add your country to Vula.

You’ll need your professional registration document, such as your HPCSA or SANC certificate (or the equivalent in your country).

Senders have permission to send referrals only, while referrals have permission to receive referrals. Team admins are users with the ability to make changes to their team, such as adding or removing participants, or giving permission to receive referrals.

To go on call, you will need to get permission from your team admin first.
In the Vula app:
From the inbox, tap on the top bar of the app, where the team names appear.
A drawer will open with your different teams. Tap the on call button to go on call for that team.
In Vula Web:
1. From the inbox, tap on the on call/off duty button in the top right hand corner of the page.
2. Tap the on call button to go on call for a specific team. -
In the Vula app:
Tap the plus icon at the bottom of your screen.
Select the facility and department you want to refer to.
Fill in the form and send a referral.
In Vula Web
1. Tap “refer” in the left side menu.
2. Select the facility and department you want to refer to.
3. Fill in the form and send a referral. -
