Vula Medical has been awarded the top honour at the 2025 FNB App of the Year Awards, taking home Overall App of the Year and the award for Best Health Solution.

Out of an exceptional field of contenders, Vula was recognised not only as the leading health innovation of the year, but as the standout app across all categories, a powerful acknowledgment of what the platform has become and the purpose behind it.

For us, these awards are more than accolades. This recognition belongs to our entire team, and especially to the health workers we serve. Your dedication to patients inspires everything we do, and support our mission centred on improving access to specialist healthcare for every patient in South Africa.

From the beginning, Vula set out to bridge the gap between primary-level health workers and specialists. By improving communication and streamlining referrals, Vula reduces unnecessary travel for patients, especially in rural and underserved regions, and speeds up access to critical care.
